Your safari adventure begins at 07:30 AM when your driver/guide picks you up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in the Arusha area. Once comfortably settled in your private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep, you’ll set off on a scenic drive through the rolling hills and diverse landscapes of Maasai country. Along the way, take in the changing vegetation and traditional pastoral life.
By late morning, you’ll arrive at Tarangire National Park, a beautiful and relatively quiet reserve known for its large concentration of wildlife.
Tarangire is especially famous for its thriving elephant population—over 3,000 of them roam freely here. As you explore, you’ll also have the chance to spot lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, buffalos, and elands. Adding to the park’s unique charm are its towering baobab trees, their massive trunks and stubby branches creating a surreal and timeless landscape.
After a rewarding game drive, you’ll retire to your lodge or tented camp within or near the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Tarangire National Park
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the wild beauty of Tarangire National Park. After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you’ll set out for a full day of game drives across the park’s varied landscapes. Known for its wide-open grasslands, seasonal swamps, and winding rivers, Tarangire offers an exceptional setting for wildlife viewing.
The park is particularly renowned for its dense elephant population, often seen in large herds traversing the terrain or gathering at the riverbanks. Keep your eyes peeled for predators like lions and leopards, as well as grazers including zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and giraffes. Bird enthusiasts will also be rewarded with sightings of over 500 bird species, from colorful bee-eaters to giant ground hornbills.
As you drive through this peaceful and less-crowded reserve, the massive baobab trees stand like ancient sentinels, adding a mystical charm to the scenery. Midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by nature.
In the late afternoon, you’ll continue your game viewing before returning to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay, reflecting on a day rich in wildlife encounters and African wilderness.

Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most iconic national park. En route, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the wilderness.
By early afternoon, the vast golden plains of the Serengeti begin to unfold, welcoming you to one of the world’s greatest wildlife arenas. With the largest lion population in Africa, and home to the Big Five and countless other species, the Serengeti offers exceptional game viewing.
You’ll have time for your first game drive in the park before checking in to your lodge or tented camp. Share the day’s discoveries over a hearty dinner and prepare for more excitement ahead.

Full Day in Serengeti
Rise early to catch the magical morning light dancing across the Serengeti plains.
Spend the day exploring the park’s varied landscapes—from open savannah to woodlands, marshes, and river areas. Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and hyenas, as well as lesser-seen species like honey badgers and wild dogs.
After a full day on safari, return to your Serengeti lodge or tented camp for a well-earned dinner and stories by the campfire.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy breakfast before setting out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at Oldupai Gorge—often referred to as the “Cradle of Mankind”—where fossil discoveries have reshaped our understanding of early human evolution.
Arrive at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, a vast collapsed volcano that now cradles an ecosystem rich in wildlife. Descend into the crater floor, a 600-meter drop into a world of over 25,000 animals including lions, leopards, black rhinos, hippos, and flocks of flamingoes around Lake Magadi.
After a full day exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, ascend back to the rim to witness a classic Ngorongoro sunset and settle in at your lodge for the night

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, head out on a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its dramatic scenery and diverse wildlife.
The lake’s edge often glows pink with thousands of flamingoes, and the surrounding forest and grasslands host elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. Smaller animals like the dik-dik, a tiny antelope, also make appearances. Ernest Hemingway once described the park as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa,” and its beauty will stay with you long after you leave.

Lake Manyara to Arusha
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out and beginning your return journey to Arusha.
The two-hour drive offers a final chance to take in the Tanzanian landscape. Along the way reflect on the rich tapestry of wildlife and culture experienced over the past few days.
Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport, concluding your safari adventure.
