10 days 9 nights- Classic Long Kenya Safari
Day
1
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
07:00 hrs. – Your safari driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel/ Nairobi airport. Then head to central highlands enjoying views of local coffee, tea, and pineapple farms.
Afternoon: Check into your lodge or camp, have lunch, and relax for a bit.
Embark on your first game drive in Samburu. The late afternoon is an excellent time for wildlife spotting as animals are more active in the cooler temperatures.
Here you will find wildlife from the neighboring reserves gathering to drink at the river’s nourishing banks.
The river is also home to hippos, crocodiles and some of the many varieties of birdlife found in the parks.
Overnight at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

2
Day 2: Samburu Full Day
Morning: An early start for a morning game drive. This is when predators are most active, and you can spot a wide array of wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. You can relax by the pool or participate in optional activities offered by the lodge, like nature walks or cultural visits.
Afternoon: After lunch, head out for another game drive.
You will be on the lookout for elephant, buffalo, and some of the more entertaining wildlife like dik-dik, warthog and the olive baboon.
As always on our safaris, be as active as you wish or relax at your safari accommodation.

3
Day 3: Samburu – Ol Pejeta
Early breakfast at respective camp/lodge
Our final morning in the park will give us opportunities to add more wildlife sightings to our checklist and catch sightings of animals you might have missed and enjoy the serene beauty of the reserve.
You will enjoy the game drive as we exit the park.
Continue our journey to Ol Pejeta Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation.
You’ll be astonished by the wide variety of wildlife.
You’ll find endangered rhinos and the Big Five, along with giraffes, hippos, impalas, gazelles, zebras, jackals, hyenas, and even monkeys and baboons.
The reserve also hosts the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for rescued chimpanzees where they can roam freely in their natural environment.
This is the only place in Kenya where you can observe these intelligent and playful primates.
Additionally, the sanctuary has an endangered species enclosure large enough for game drives. Here, you can see rhinos and other rare animals such as Grevy’s zebras and Jackson’s hartebeests.

4
Day 4 :Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru
Early breakfast at your accommodation.
Head to Lake Nakuru National park.
Arrive in time for lunch.
At lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and other bird species. The park also hosts black and white rhinos, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and Later, we’ll take a short one-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

We’ll spend the night at your Lake Nakuru safari lodge or tented camp.

5
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Early morning game drive as you exit Lake Nakuru National Park. Proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive.
- Overnight stay and dinner at the lodge.

Day 6: Full Day – Masai Mara
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara, known for its rich wildlife ecosystem. Traverse the reserve to encounter the Big Five and other wildlife.
- Visit the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles, or possibly witness the great migration (July – October).
- Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara To Lake Naivasha
- Early Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- Optional Cultural Visit: Visit a Masai village for $20 per person, learning about their lifestyle and cultural dances.
- Arrival at Lake Naivasha: In time for lunch, followed by check-in and relaxation.
- Afternoon Activities: Sunset boat ride and Crescent Island visit for close-up wildlife viewing and hippo sightings.
- Overnight at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha To Amboseli National Park
- Early Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- Drive to Amboseli: Approximately 5-6 hours.
- Arrival: In time for lunch and relaxation.
- Afternoon Game Drive: Explore Amboseli with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. See a variety of wildlife and bird species.
- Overnight at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 9: Full Day At Amboseli National Park
- Early Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- Full-Day Game Drive: Enjoy a picnic lunch while exploring the park. Spot wildlife with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background.
- Overnight at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 10: Amboseli To Nairobi
- Early Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- Game Drive: En-route to Nairobi.
- Drop-off: In Nairobi airport or Nairobi hotel.
