Zanzibar – Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your Zanzibar hotel followed by a transfer to Zanzibar Airport on a scheduled flight to Arusha Airport Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be met by your professional safari driver-guide in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser. Settle into your private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep as you head out across the Maasai plains. 

 

Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the breathtaking crater, a world unlike any other, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, and more.

 

After an immersive day of game viewing in the crater, ascend back to the rim and enjoy a stunning sunset overlooking this ancient caldera.

Ngorongoro – Serengeti

After breakfast, journey on to the legendary Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and largest national park. Continue your drive through the vast plains of the Serengeti, where the landscape opens up to endless horizons dotted with herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and towering giraffes. 

 

Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards also roam these iconic grasslands. Enjoy your first game drive in the Serengeti before settling in at your safari lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Spend the full day exploring the magnificent Serengeti on game drives tailored to your pace and interests. This ecosystem teems with wildlife – you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and an impressive array of birdlife with over 500 recorded species.

 

From the endless plains to river crossings and woodlands, the diversity of habitats provides endless opportunities for wildlife encounters, from the Big Five to rare and elusive species like wild dogs and honey badgers.

 

In between drives, enjoy a picnic or return to your camp for a relaxed lunch break.

4

Serengeti – Fly to Zanzibar

Enjoy a final sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, capturing those last unforgettable moments of the African wild.

 

Mid-Morning: Transfer to the nearest Serengeti airstrip with a game drive en route.

 

Fly to Zanzibar, upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Zanzibar beach resort or Stone Town hotel
